Unmade preparedness for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

share

In light of the COVID-19 situation worldwide, Unmade has been proactively working to ensure continuous service and support for our customers, promote the health and well-being of our employees, and protect the communities where we live and work.

As of Thursday, March 12, 2020, all Unmade employees have been directed to solely work from home. We have very good systems in place to allow employees to work remotely with minimal disruption. We have also stopped all non-essential domestic and international travel, and only to unrestricted destinations.

Our commitment to our clients

We remain steadfastly focused on ensuring our clients success. Anyone in the teams that we are collaborating with are welcome to call, email and contact us in all the usual ways. All of our systems are configured to enable and support employees working remotely, without constraint. We are confident that in the event of widespread illness due to COVID-19, we will be able to provide full customer service and operational support. In addition, our critical suppliers are reviewed annually to ensure that their service continuity plans adequately safeguard the services utilised by Unmade and are continually aligned with our contracted obligations and SLAs.

Our commitment to our employees

Our team of employees are our greatest resource, and we are constantly evaluating how best to protect their health and wellness. We have good systems in place to allow employees to work remotely with minimal disruption. We are open for business as usual – just not at the office for the time being. We fully intend to fulfil all our commitments to clients.

Our Commitment to Our Community

We are following the guidance of Government as well as organisations such as the World Health Organisation. Other startups like Coinbase made their latest coronavirus planning materials available, to help share as much information as possible to aid decision-making. This has undoubtedly helped ensure that employees have good information and are abiding by safe practices, including regular hand-washing, social distancing, and being vigilant about signs of illness. These efforts focus not only on safeguarding our employees, but also the communities in which they live and work.

Events that Unmade were due to attend in March and April have been postponed or canceled. We have also postponed our owned and operated gatherings. We will continue evaluating whether to host or attend future events based on the best advice available at the time.

Finally, a great deal of Unmade's expertise is in making supply chains more adaptable. If there is any way at all that we can support businesses through these challenging times, please reach out via any of the usual points of contact in the team. We will of course do all we can to help.
